Infant Aide or Assistant Teacher for licensed Childcare 

Hand in Hand Christian Montessori – Wayzata Campus, Wayzata, has a full-time (32-40 hours/week) opening in our licensed childcare center.

You’ll teach them how to feed themselves, put themselves to sleep, sit up, crawl, walk, and more! Come be a part of this exciting time in a child’s life.

Applicants should:

• Have a bachelor’s degree or some college in a child-related field
• Be self-motivated, responsible, and reliable as well as familiar with the needs of infants and toddlers
• Experience in a licensed childcare setting, preferred
• Be able to multi-task

Main responsibilities:

• Detailed
• Responsible
• Timely
• Adaptable (adjusting to children’s varied needs)
• Kind and firm with boundaries
• Nurturing (gentle and caring)

Hours 8:00am – 4:00 or 4:30pm (Mon.-Fri. or Tue. – Thur.)

Compensation starts at $16/hour for aide and $18/hour for assistant. Assistants need a minimum of 12 college credits in early childhood education or similar. HIHCM offers generous tuition discounts for employees who have children enrolled at HIHCM.
