What Makes Hand in Hand Elementary Unique?

The Atrium

A dedicated spiritual environment where children encounter the person of Jesus and the truths of Scripture through hands-on, Montessori-inspired religious materials — not just a Bible lesson, but a place to wonder, worship, and grow in faith.

Multi-Age Learning Classrooms

Children in grades 1-3 (Elementary 1) and grades 4-6 (Elementary 2) learn side by side in the same classroom, giving younger students mentors to look up to and older students real opportunities to lead, teach, and reinforce their own understanding.

Uninterrupted Work Periods

Uninterrupted blocks of work time each day let children follow their curiosity, complete meaningful projects, and develop deep focus and self-direction — skills that carry far beyond the classroom.

Real Responsibility

From caring for the classroom environment to managing their own project timelines, elementary students practice the kind of independence and self-advocacy that prepares them for junior high, high school, and life.
