Dear Staff, Faculty and Families of Hand In Hand
We, along with other childcare and educational facilities, received a lengthy letter of commendation this week from the office of the Governor. Therefore, we wanted to pass along a few of his encouraging words.
We are so grateful to God for His guiding wisdom and protection during this first semester regarding COVID19. We found that when we "stepped into the Jordan" and ventured into unknown waters - God met us in a profound way and parted the waters for us. We look forward to finishing this term and heading into 2021 with our hope and confidence being anchored in the Lord.
Thank you, each one of our 64 staff members, 327 students and their families, for continuing to walk by faith, being strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9).
Blessing with gratitude this Thanksgiving,
Michelle Lee Thompson
"We wanted to send you a brief note to just say –thank you.On behalf of the state of Minnesota, our families and our communities, thankyou....You are the backbone for families, workers, and our kids who depend on your education, care, and support. And your efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have meant that we don’t see evidence of child care as a place of widespread transmission. Although we know you are impacted by increased cases and transmission in the community, the data from the last 28 days indicate that only 2 percent of our child care programs have had 5 or more cases."
