Collaborative Education
“I guess the essence of life for me is finding something you enjoy doing that gives meaning to life, and then being in a situation where you can do it.” – Isaac Asimov
Our theme song at Hand In Hand states “by myself I can learn, but together we learn better, together we learn better – hand in hand.” This song embodies the message that we are created by God to live in community with one another. We seek at Hand In Hand to foster relationships between children so that they can have peaceful conflict resolution and work with grace and courtesy. We also are intentional about our parent partnerships, since we believe that parents are the first and foremost teachers of their children. School settings play a secondary role to the home. We want to develop a strong work-place environment as well so that all staff and faculty members are affirmed in their strengths and find a positive, meaningful flow in their calling as educators.
