Christ Centered
“The experience of sacred time and space in a special place set aside for God enables us to experience God in every time and every place.” – Sonja Stewart and Jerome Berryman
The Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, is central to our education and our learning environments. You can visually see the focal point in each room being something that symbolizes Immanuel – God With Us – and surely He is! We affirm the preeminence of Christ as found in Ephesians 1. We leave our doctrinal divides for home discussions, and rally around what is most important – the grace and truth of Christ. We believe that “in the essentials unity; the non-essentials liberty and in all things charity.” We achieve this through our commitment to teaching about God’s Word and God’s World to the children throughout the day and also during our “Atrium” times of intentional discipleship.
